UVALDE, Texas – The Department of Justice recently released a comprehensive report highlighting the failures in law enforcement’s response to the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde. This incident resulted in the loss of 19 students and two teachers on May 24, 2022.
The extensive report, spanning over 500 pages, sheds light on critical breakdowns that occurred before, during, and after the shooting. It underscores how these failures, by both police and leadership, contributed to the devastating number of casualties.
