Allegations in the indictment date back to 2008, detailing instances where Combs allegedly assaulted multiple women. The abuse included verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual components, leaving victims with lasting injuries. The indictment also accuses Combs of orchestrating sexual encounters with male sex workers that he termed “Freak Offs,” involving elaborate and produced performances that were recorded.
Combs is further accused of leading a criminal enterprise that engaged in various illegal activities, including sex trafficking, forced labor, and narcotics offenses. The indictment suggests that those working for Combs were part of this criminal operation, either knowingly or unknowingly, assisting in maintaining his power through violent means.
The indictment also alleges that Combs intimidated victims and witnesses to stay silent by brandishing firearms and using recordings of the “Freak Offs” to control them. He manipulated victims’ desires to succeed in the music industry, exerting control over various aspects of their lives.
