One of our very own, KSAT Meteorologist Sarah Spivey, reminisces about a beloved McDonald’s collector’s item from the 1990s – plates featuring characters from the 1997 animated film Hercules. Sarah Spivey shared her fondness for the Megara collector’s plate, recalling the joy it brought during her childhood.
Similarly, KSAT Anchor Sarah Acosta has her own Hercules collector’s plate memory to share. She and her brothers were obsessed with using the plate for one peculiar reason – it always smelled like french fries, no matter how many times they washed it. Sarah Acosta humorously remarked, “I don’t know what it was. It just always smelled like french fries.”
