FRANCINE

In San Antonio, you may notice some high clouds drifting in from Tropical Storm Francine. Unfortunately, these clouds won’t bring any rain. The tropical system will only bring rain along the immediate Texas coast, with minimal impact further inland. Coastal areas can expect high surf due to the storm.

Francine is forecasted to strengthen into a hurricane today and make landfall on the Louisiana coast as a category 1 storm on Wednesday afternoon. Expect intense storm surge, heavy rain, and strong winds along the Louisiana coast before the system moves north along the Mississippi River.

Rainfall potential over the next few days as Francine moves north. Expected minimal impacts in Texas. (Copyright 2024 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)
