FORECAST
Welcome to another forecast update! As we head towards the middle of the week, anticipate rising temperatures in the mid-90s with a heat index close to 100° due to increased humidity. Minimal rain is expected until early next week.
FRANCINE
In San Antonio, you may notice some high clouds drifting in from Tropical Storm Francine. Unfortunately, these clouds won’t bring any rain. The tropical system will only bring rain along the immediate Texas coast, with minimal impact further inland. Coastal areas can expect high surf due to the storm.
Francine is forecasted to strengthen into a hurricane today and make landfall on the Louisiana coast as a category 1 storm on Wednesday afternoon. Expect intense storm surge, heavy rain, and strong winds along the Louisiana coast before the system moves north along the Mississippi River.
