BCSO seeking missing 16-year-old girl

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking assistance in locating 16-year-old Jewelle Marie Hatten-Smith, who has been reported as missing.

The teenager was last seen by her parents on Thursday at around 12:15 p.m., captured on a home security camera entering a silver sedan parked in their driveway.

Authorities from the BCSO speculate that Jewelle may have entered a vehicle operated by a rideshare driver. They urge the driver, if so, to get in touch with the agency.

Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, Jewelle has brown eyes and black hair.

During her last sighting, Jewelle was dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, a hoodie, and blue jeans, with a dark backpack and gym bag in her possession.

Anyone with information on Jewelle’s whereabouts is urged to contact BCSO at 210-335-6000.

Jewelle Marie Hatten-Smith, 16, was last seen by her parents through a home security camera before getting into a silver sedan in the driveway.
