It is with heavy hearts that the Brooke Army Medical Center announced the passing of Stacey Dramiga, a beloved member of their staff. Dramiga, 63, was reported missing after she went for a walk along the Salado Greenway Trail and was found deceased near Dafoste Park with head trauma. The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity, leading to an outpouring of condolences from her colleagues and loved ones.

The Brooke Army Medical Center released a statement expressing their deep sorrow over Dramiga’s tragic death. They described her as a cherished member of their family who will be greatly missed. As the community mourns the loss of such a valued individual, authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Dramiga’s passing.

During a news conference, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar provided updates on the case, emphasizing the need for any potential witnesses to come forward with information. He reassured the public that Dramiga’s family is fully cooperating with the investigation and is not considered to be involved in her disappearance.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are urging anyone who may have been in the area or have information relevant to the case to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000. The community’s support during this difficult time is crucial in seeking justice for Stacey Dramiga.
