SAN ANTONIO – In a tragic turn of events, San Antonio police are currently investigating the death of a woman who was found unresponsive inside a home on the South Side late Tuesday night.
Authorities were alerted to the situation just after 11 p.m. when they were called to a residence in the 100 block of Division Avenue, near South Flores Street, for a requested welfare check.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman, aged in her 40s, lifeless inside the house. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this point in time, the cause of the woman’s death remains unknown, and her identity has not been disclosed to the public.
The San Antonio Police Department, along with the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS, all promptly responded to the distress call.
An active investigation is currently underway as authorities work diligently to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
