Woman claims Diddy raped her on video in lawsuit

The latest lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has brought shocking allegations to light once again. In a federal court filing in New York, Thalia Graves accuses Combs and his head of security of raping her and recording the assault at his Bad Boy Recording Studios in 2001. This lawsuit follows a recent arrest and federal sex trafficking indictment against Combs.

Graves, who was just 25 at the time and dating an executive affiliated with Combs, claims she was lured to the studio under false pretenses. She alleges that she was given a drink laced with drugs, lost consciousness, and woke up bound inside Combs’ office where she was violently assaulted by both men.

In a press conference alongside her attorney Gloria Allred, Graves bravely shared her harrowing experience, detailing the lasting trauma she has endured since that fateful day. The emotional scars left by the incident have made it difficult for her to trust others and form healthy relationships.

Combs remains in custody on federal charges related to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His representatives have denied the allegations, stating that he is innocent and will fight to clear his name. The lawsuit, filed under the New York City Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, seeks justice for Graves during a legal window that allows victims of sexual abuse to seek recourse.

The lawsuit also alleges that Combs had recorded the assault and distributed the video for profit. Graves, having kept silent out of fear and shame, has now come forward to seek justice and healing. The lawsuit demands accountability and seeks damages for the irreparable harm caused.

As the legal battle unfolds, it is clear that Graves’ courage in speaking out is a crucial step toward holding powerful individuals accountable for their actions. The music industry, once revered for its creativity and innovation, is now facing a reckoning with the dark side of power and abuse. Only time will tell how this case will impact the industry and pave the way for a safer, more equitable future.
