Choosing the right college for your athletic career can be a daunting task, especially for local athletes in the San Antonio area. For Wagner High School’s five-star guard Leonna “LA” Sneed, the decision was not an easy one.
Amid offers from several prestigious schools, Sneed made a surprising choice on Sunday afternoon – she will be taking her talents to the University of Utah, a departure from the familiar surroundings of the Alamo City.
Despite interest from the likes of the University of Arkansas and UC Berkeley, Sneed opted for the Utes, setting the stage for an exciting chapter in her basketball career following her senior season at Wagner High School.
