SAN ANTONIO – A recent incident on the West Side of San Antonio has left a bicyclist hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle, as reported by San Antonio police.

The collision took place around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Culebra Road and the Loop 1604 access road. According to authorities, the driver was heading west on Culebra Road when they collided with the bicyclist traveling north on the Loop 1604 access road.

It was reported that the driver, who allegedly had a green light, did not see the bicyclist in the intersection, leading to the unfortunate accident. Despite this, the driver stopped after the collision to provide assistance to the injured bicyclist, and currently, no charges have been filed against them, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
