The UTSA Roadrunners are gearing up to face off against the Rice Owls on October 12th after a tough loss to East Carolina this past weekend.

Despite falling below .500, the Roadrunners showed promise in their game against East Carolina. Tight end Oscar Cardenas scored a touchdown in the first quarter to give UTSA an early lead. The team went into halftime with a narrow advantage, but ECU surged ahead in the second half.

UTSA fought back with a touchdown from freshman Brandon High Jr. to bring the game within reach, but ultimately fell short, losing 30-20 in their American Athletic Conference opener.
