It was a busy night for the southeastern states as Helene made landfall near Perry, Florida with sustained winds of 140 mph. The storm has moved into Georgia, bringing heavy rainfall and a tornado threat. While Helene weakens, flooding remains a concern for Georgia and the Carolinas.
