Trump campaign office in Virginia reported burglary

ASHBURN, Va. – A break-in at a Virginia campaign office for former President Donald Trump has sparked an investigation into a possible burglary.

The incident took place over the weekend in Ashburn at an office leased by the Trump for President 2024 campaign, also serving as the headquarters of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee, as reported by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities were alerted to the situation around 9 p.m. on Sunday. Surveillance footage shows an individual dressed in dark clothing, wearing a dark cap, and carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Thomas A. Julia stated that the video captured the individual breaking into and ransacking the office. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Sheriff Mike Chapman expressed his determination to identify the suspect, understand the motive behind the break-in, and assess any items that may have been taken or left behind. The Trump campaign and the 10th District Republican Committee have not issued any comments so far.
