Partnering for a Good Cause: United Way of San Antonio’s ‘Project Warmth’ Coat Drive

As the winter season approaches, United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County are once again joining forces for their annual ‘Project Warmth’ coat drive. This initiative aims to collect coats and winterwear accessories to distribute to families in need within our community.

This year, the organization has set a target of providing 700 coats to children up to 18 years old. Kevin Femmel, Director of Communications for United Way of San Antonio, emphasized the importance of donating brand-new coats to bring peace of mind and relief to families and children during the colder months.

Donations are now open and will be accepted until November 15. You can contribute in person at various locations or use the online Wishlist for convenience.

In-person donation locations include:

  • Starbucks (The Quarry), 255 E. Basse Road, 78209
  • Starbucks (Near Guitar Center), 7311 San Pedro Av., 78216
  • Comet Cleaners, 1218 W. Bitters Rd. Ste. 109, 78216
  • Comet Cleaners, 10670 Culebra Rd. Ste. 104, 78251
  • Comet Cleaners, 8739 Bandera Rd. Ste. 100, 78250
  • Comet Cleaners, 5886 De Zavala Rd. Ste. 110, 78249
  • Comet Cleaners, 28214 I-10, Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, 78006
  • United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, 700 S. Alamo Street, 78205

You can also donate by simply texting “PROJECTWARMTH” to 41444. Your contribution will go a long way in helping families in need stay warm this winter.

Once the donation period concludes, United Way of San Antonio will distribute the collected coats to families who require assistance.

Join us in making a difference this winter season by supporting ‘Project Warmth’ and providing warmth to those in need.
