FORECAST
Good morning and Happy Labor Day! A quick check of the radar this morning shows lingering rain, especially for those along the Rio Grande. As the day progresses, scattered showers and downpours will develop. The best chances for rain will initially be west of I-35, but some activity may move towards San Antonio later in the day. This will be hit-or-miss rainfall, so be prepared to seek shelter if you’re outdoors. Thunder, lightning, and gusty winds are possible with any developing storms.
Rain chances will continue into tonight, with Tuesday likely bringing the highest odds of rain. Some areas may experience pockets of heavy rain due to deep moisture in place. However, the exact locations of these heavy rain bands are unpredictable. Like today, Tuesday will not be a washout, but expect rain at some point during the day.
By Wednesday, rain chances will diminish as drier air moves in. The weather will become calmer towards the end of the workweek, with lower humidity making for pleasant mornings and warm afternoons.
Wishing you a fantastic and safe Labor Day!
