SAN ANTONIO – Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning on the Northwest Side of San Antonio as a person lost their life in a heartbreaking incident. The individual was fatally struck by a pickup truck, driven by someone in a hurry to get a stabbing victim to the hospital, according to the San Antonio police.
The fatal crash took place around 3 a.m. near the Northwest Loop 410 access road, close to Callaghan Road. The pedestrian was on the road when they were hit by the speeding truck, leading to the unfortunate outcome.
The driver, who was taken into custody, may be facing charges for driving while intoxicated, as per the authorities. The passenger in the truck, who had sustained multiple stab wounds, was being rushed to the hospital for emergency medical care. The details of the stabbing incident or the current condition of the victim remain undisclosed at this time.
