BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A tragic incident occurred in far West Bexar County, as a 25-year-old woman was shot and killed in the early hours of April 18, 2024. The victim, Angel Hernandez, was visiting a friend’s apartment when she received a message to meet an unknown person in a courtyard near the pool area of the complex. Unfortunately, Hernandez was found shot in the courtyard and succumbed to her injuries.
Police investigations revealed security footage capturing a blue Dodge Charger stopping at the back gate of the apartment complex. A man in a red hoodie was seen exiting the vehicle and jumping over the gate. After the shooting, the same man was observed fleeing the scene, leaving behind a senseless act of violence.
