San Antonio Zoo closes due to flooding, animals safe.

Welcome Back to the San Antonio Zoo!

The San Antonio Zoo is thrilled to announce that it will be reopening on September 4th, following a brief closure due to heavy rain and flooding near the zoo. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the zoo’s dedicated staff ensured the safety of all animals and personnel.

As we prepare to welcome visitors back, we are excited to resume our regular hours of operation. The zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. We can’t wait to see you and your family enjoying all the wonderful wildlife and attractions that the San Antonio Zoo has to offer.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to reconnect with nature and create lasting memories at the zoo. Plan your visit today and get ready for a wild adventure!
