- Most areas received less than 0.10″ of rainfall, with a few neighborhoods getting more than half an inch of rain on Monday afternoon.
- Expect hit-or-miss rain chances of around 40% on Tuesday.
- Clouds and moisture will keep temperatures in the low to mid-90s throughout the week.
- There are small rain chances that will continue through the upcoming weekend.
Forecast:
A low-pressure system moving onshore from the Gulf of Mexico resulted in scattered thundershowers on Monday. While most areas saw minimal rainfall, some neighborhoods enjoyed more substantial amounts.
Looking ahead, there is a 40% chance of rain on Tuesday, especially in the morning. While not everyone will see rainfall, those who do can anticipate brief, heavy showers. The prevalence of clouds will help to keep temperatures in the low-90s, with a mix of partly cloudy skies and humidity.
Rain chances diminish slightly by Wednesday, but don’t disappear entirely. In fact, there are low-end rain chances that extend into the following week, as the heat high shifts away, allowing for temperatures to remain in the 90s.
