San Antonio boy reaches finals in USA Mullet Championships with ‘Texas Waterfall’ style

A young boy from San Antonio has made it to the final round of the USA Mullet Championship with his unique hairstyle. Avery Quiroz, a nine-year-old student from Judson ISD, entered the kids’ category with his impressive mullet, which he proudly calls “The Texas Waterfall.”

Inspired by his uncle, Avery has been growing his mullet for two years. His dad, Eduardo Quiroz, mentioned that Avery loves how it flows out of his baseball cap and has become emotionally attached to it.

If you want to support Avery and his “Texas Waterfall,” you can vote for him here. The final round of voting will take place on August 21.

The USA Mullet Championship not only celebrates unique hairstyles but also supports a good cause. The contest benefits the nonprofit organization Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, which offers wounded veterans mortgage-free homes.
