SAN ANTONIO – For four decades, SA Youth has been a beacon of hope in the San Antonio community.
The nonprofit organization is renowned for its commitment to providing education and opportunities to the city’s young people. As SA Youth marks its 40th anniversary this year, the entire city is coming together to celebrate this milestone.
Join SA Youth at their birthday bash, taking place at the Mexican Cultural Institute on Oct. 11 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“SA Youth has been instrumental in addressing generational inequities and providing vital support to San Antonio’s most vulnerable populations,” a spokesperson stated. “The organization has been a leader in creating opportunities and nurturing resilience.”
At the event, Judge Cruz Shaw and District 5 Councilwoman Terri Castillo will share insights on the impacts of the organization. The celebration will be hosted by KSAT reporter Avery Everett, who will lead an alumni panel featuring inspiring stories of individuals who have graduated from the program.
The evening will revolve around the students, past and present. Attendees will have the chance to view artwork by SA Youth students and local San Antonio artists, while a cake-cutting ceremony will honor those who have triumphed over challenges with the nonprofit’s assistance.
