SAN ANTONIO – The Ringer Pub’s owners are making a difference this September by organizing a Squishmallow drive to support Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.
“It’s amazing to see the community come together and support these kiddos who are facing unimaginable challenges at such a young age,” shared Kevin Ranallo, co-owner of The Ringer Pub. “Every donation makes a huge difference in their lives.”
The idea for the Squishmallow drive came from one of Ranallo’s daughter’s friends, who discovered that soft and squishy toys provide comfort to children undergoing chemotherapy.
This year marks the third annual donation drive, and The Ringer Pub has already collected over 500 stuffed animals. Their goal is to reach 750 Squishmallows by the end of September to donate to Methodist Children’s Hospital.
Anyone who wishes to contribute can visit The Ringer Pub at 2826 Thousand Oaks Drive in San Antonio and drop off a Squishmallow.
