SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are on the lookout for a driver who crashed a truck into a business on the Northwest Side.

The incident took place at a shopping center in the 3700 block of Northwest Loop 410 near Fredricksburg Road around 1 a.m. on Monday.

Witnesses reported that the driver entered the parked truck and sped off recklessly.

The driver lost control and crashed into the front of the closed building. The individual fled the scene before the police arrived.

It is unclear if the truck belonged to the driver.

Once apprehended, the driver will face charges of failure to stop and provide information, as per the police.

Fortunately, no injuries or estimated damage costs have been reported so far.
