SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Crime Stoppers are pleading for your help in finding the suspect responsible for the brutal murder of 25-year-old Shawn Michael Gaitan, whose life was tragically cut short in June 2020.

On June 27, 2020, authorities responded to a distressing scene at the intersection of Cacias and Hildebrandt roads, where Gaitan’s lifeless body was found wrapped in a blanket.

It was later determined that Gaitan was likely murdered at a different location before being dumped at the roadside. Investigators believe that Gaitan had met with three individuals at a residence on the 5100 block of Sierra Street the night before his tragic demise.

Furthermore, Gaitan’s vehicle went missing following his death and was only recovered nearly a month later on July 15, 2020, in Austin.
