Peter Frampton Set to be Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

At last year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Sheryl Crow surprised the audience by inviting Peter Frampton on stage to perform. The electric performance was a preview of what’s to come as Frampton will finally be inducted into the rock hall this year on October 19 in Cleveland.

Frampton credits Crow for pushing him into the spotlight and believes he wouldn’t have been nominated without her support. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity she gave him to be recognized by the hall.

Known for his iconic 1976 live double album “Frampton Comes Alive!” that featured hits like “Show Me the Way” and “Baby, I Love Your Way,” Frampton has been a staple in the rock scene for decades. Despite being eligible for the hall since 1998, the honor seemed like a distant dream until now.

With a change in leadership at the hall in 2023, legacy acts like Frampton, Foreigner, and Cher have received long-overdue recognition. Frampton will join a star-studded class of inductees that includes Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dionne Warwick.

Despite battling a degenerative muscle disease, Frampton continues to make music and plans to embark on The Positively Thankful Tour leading up to his induction. He is also working on new songs and another album, showcasing his unwavering passion for music.

As Frampton prepares for his induction, fans and fellow musicians alike are thrilled to see him finally receive the recognition he deserves.
