The Evolution of Paris Hilton: A Look at Her New Album “Infinite Icon”

NEW YORK – Nearly two decades ago, Paris Hilton released her debut album, 2006’s eponymous “Paris,” at the peak of her fame. The album provided a lively pop music backdrop to her vibrant and luxurious lifestyle, highlighted by the hit single “Stars Are Blind.”

Since then, Hilton has been involved in various ventures, including a memoir, a documentary, and an activism campaign focused on reforming Utah’s troubled teen industry. Alongside these projects, she has embraced her passion for music as a DJ and is set to release her long-awaited second album, “Infinite Icon,” which delves into her love for dance music and club culture.

Speaking to The Associated Press, Hilton shared, “Music has always been such a huge passion for me. Someone needed to come and save pop music. So I’m here.”

While her debut album reflected her party-girl persona, “Infinite Icon” takes a more introspective approach, with tracks like “ADHD” and “Legacy” exploring deeper themes and personal experiences.

The lead single, “I’m Free,” featuring Rina Sawayama, celebrates autonomy and pays homage to Hilton’s journey of personal liberation.

For “Infinite Icon,” Hilton collaborated with acclaimed artist Sia as the executive producer, assembling a team of talented female artists like Megan Trainor, Megan Thee Stallion, and Maria Becerra to contribute to the album.

“It was really important to me to really do this album with all women,” Hilton expressed. “I just wanted to have this album really be about empowering women. Just songs for my girls, my gays, and songs for people to feel alive to. I want everyone who listens to this album to feel like their own unapologetic icon.”
