Welcome to the Newly Redesigned Launch SA Space at San Antonio Central Library!
Welcome to the newly revamped Launch SA space at the San Antonio Central Library, designed to provide local entrepreneurs and small businesses with the resources they need to succeed.
The redesigned Launch SA space on the first floor of the Central Library offers new features, including an ecosystem mapping tool and enhanced small business data resources. These resources will also be available at satellite locations throughout the city.
Matthew Espinoza, director of Launch SA, expressed excitement about the new space, saying, “The reimagined Launch SA is a symbol of our city’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting our small business community. We’re thrilled to introduce the new space, updated branding, and new tools like Launch SA Link, which will empower local business owners on their journey to success.”
In September 2023, Geekdom took over the operations of Launch SA after the City of San Antonio approved a $1.7 million, three-year agreement.
Charles Woodin, CEO of Geekdom, emphasized the importance of expanding access to resources for the growth of small businesses in the city, stating, “Since partnering with the City of San Antonio, Geekdom has assisted over 546 entrepreneurs through the Launch SA program. We are dedicated to creating more opportunities for our local business community.”
Launch SA celebrated its relaunch with a ceremony featuring workshops, guest speakers, and networking opportunities.
