The Cleveland Browns faced a tough loss against the New York Giants, and All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett’s health is now a concern. Garrett will undergo an MRI on his foot on Monday after sustaining an injury that plagued him throughout the game.
Garrett, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, had to be helped off the field during the fourth quarter. He had previously revealed that he was dealing with foot injuries but did not specify the exact nature of the problem. During the game, Garrett was seen grabbing his right foot and limping, indicating that he was in discomfort.
The 28-year-old athlete mentioned that he is also struggling with issues in both legs as he tries to compensate for his foot injuries. After the game, Garrett was visibly limping as he left the locker room and required a cart to exit the stadium. Three offensive linemen from the Browns also suffered injuries during the game: Wyatt Teller, Jedrick Wills Jr., and James Hudson III.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that all three linemen would undergo imaging tests to assess the extent of their injuries. Wills, who made his 2024 debut after knee surgery in December, adds to the list of injured players on the team.
The Browns’ recent string of injuries raises concerns about their roster depth and ability to perform at a high level. Fans hope for a speedy recovery for Garrett and the other injured players as the team prepares for upcoming games. Stay updated with the latest NFL news at AP NFL.
