Breaking Records: Morgan Wallen Leads 2024 Country Music Association Award Nominations
NEW YORK – It’s that time of the year again, and Morgan Wallen is dominating the 2024 Country Music Association Award nominations with a total of seven nominations.
Wallen has been consistently making waves in the country music scene and is once again in the running for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award, as well as the Male Vocalist categories for the third consecutive year.
Competing alongside Wallen for the Entertainer of the Year title are industry heavyweights like Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, and rising star Lainey Wilson.
Wallen’s collaboration with Post Malone on the hit single, “I Had Some Help,” has been a driving force behind his multiple nominations this year. The song is up for Single, Song, Musical Event, and Music Video of the Year categories. Additionally, Wallen has another nod in the Musical Event category for his work with Eric Church on “Man Made a Bar.”
With awards like Single of the Year and Song of the Year up for grabs, the competition is fierce, and the stakes are high for all the talented artists vying for the top honors.
In the lead-up to the nominations announcement, there was speculation about Beyoncé possibly receiving a nod for her groundbreaking country album “Cowboy Carter,” but she did not make the list this year.
