Welcome Mike Greenberg as the Host of ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown!
Welcome to Bristol, Conn.! The 40th season of ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” kicks off on Sept. 8 with Mike Greenberg as the new host.
Greenberg is the fourth host in the show’s history, following in the footsteps of Bob Ley, Chris Berman, and Samantha Ponder. Ponder and college football analyst Robert Griffin III had their contracts bought out by ESPN last week in a cost-cutting move.
Greenberg has been a familiar face on ESPN, hosting the network’s NFL draft coverage and NBA Countdown studio show. He also hosts the popular morning show “Get Up” and has an afternoon program on ESPN Radio.
Joining Greenberg on “Sunday NFL Countdown” as analysts are Tedy Bruschi, Rex Ryan, Randy Moss, Alex Smith, and Adam Schefter.
Stay tuned for another exciting season of football analysis and insights on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown”!
