In a shocking incident, a suspect is in custody after a double stabbing that occurred in San Antonio. The attack left one man critically injured and a woman with minor injuries, as per the San Antonio police.
The unsettling event took place early on Monday morning at a property on the 9300 block of I-10 East frontage road, just west of Loop 1604, where the suspect and victims resided.
Reports suggest that the man sustained a stab wound to the abdomen, while the woman had a cut on her hand.
The man was rushed to a hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, while the woman remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
Following the attack, the suspect, who resided in a separate shed on the property, fled. However, he was apprehended by officers upon his return to the scene.
Law enforcement officials are actively investigating the nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victims, as well as the motive behind the violent act.
Efforts are also being made to recover the knife believed to have been used in the assault.
