SAN ANTONIO – A man was arrested after he fired a gunshot inside an H-E-B on the Northwest Side, according to Leon Valley police.

The incident occurred around 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday at the H-E-B located in the 5600 block of Bandera Road near Loop 410.

Reports indicate that the man discharged his firearm into the ground near the entrance of the grocery store.

Law enforcement swiftly apprehended the suspect as he tried to flee towards a nearby road.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.

The motive behind the man’s actions remains unknown at this time.
