Male and female detained in connection with 47-year-old woman’s sudden death, says SAPD

SAN ANTONIO – A tragic incident unfolded late Friday night in a Northwest Side home, where San Antonio police detained two individuals following the sudden death of a woman.

Authorities responded to a call at the residence on Timber Rail around 11:30 p.m. and discovered the woman’s body inside the home.

Initial investigations led officers to believe that the 47-year-old victim may have been injected with an unknown substance. A man and woman present in the home were taken in for further questioning at SAPD headquarters.

At this point, it is unclear whether either of the individuals detained will be charged in connection with the woman’s death, or whether they are considered suspects. The identities of the victim and those detained have not been released.

The investigation by SAPD is ongoing as they work to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
