Madonna enters Dolce&Gabbana for show celebrating 1990s heyday

MILAN – Milan Fashion Week was buzzing with excitement as celebrities graced the last big day of runway shows on Saturday. The streets were filled with adoring fans following their favorite stars from venue to venue.

The likes of Madonna, Naomi Campbell, and Victoria De Angelis were spotted at Dolce & Gabbana, while Maneskin frontman Damiano David made an appearance at Diesel, adding to the glamor of the event.

The highlights of Milan Fashion Week included previews of mostly womenswear collections for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

Dolce & Gabbana paid homage to Madonna with a runway show that referenced her iconic 1990s style, particularly the cone bra that became a symbol of her bold fashion choices.

The collection, named “Italian Beauty,” featured exaggerated cone bras, corsets, and fitted jackets that exuded a sense of power and femininity. The designs drew inspiration from Madonna’s collaboration with the designers for her Girlie Show tour in 1993.

Floral prints, bold colors, and oversized accessories added to the theatricality of the collection, capturing the essence of that iconic era in fashion history. High heels, lace veils, and crystal embellishments completed the daring looks.

The designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, were visibly moved as they greeted Madonna at the end of the show, symbolizing the deep connection between the pop star and the fashion duo.
