The Shocking Truth Behind a Local Couple’s Arrest for Child Abuse
Recently, a troubling investigation into child abuse in San Antonio, Texas, has come to light with the arrest of a local couple. Lisa Olivo, 26, and her husband, Luis Ubaldo Olivo, 41, were taken into custody on charges of endangering a child.
According to court documents, the allegations primarily involve two children, one of whom tragically passed away in March 2023. The investigation began when a San Antonio arson investigator discovered disturbing information while looking into a series of fires that occurred inside the couple’s home.
It was revealed that there were two fires within two days in February, one of which started in a closet converted into a bedroom for the couple’s 5-year-old son. Shockingly, Lisa Olivo confessed to intentionally starting the fires.
Neighbors recall the chaos that ensued during the fires and noted Lisa’s aggressive behavior towards her son. Further evidence from Lisa’s cellphone indicated troubling searches related to suffocating a child, while Luis Olivo was accused of holding the boy’s head underwater until he couldn’t breathe.
Tragically, the couple’s 20-month-old daughter died in March 2023 after a seizure, allegedly due to Lisa’s failure to provide necessary medication and subsequent dishonesty with investigators. The couple’s history of abuse extends to other children, with reports of another child dying in 2022 while in Lisa’s care.
It remains a harrowing tale of abuse and neglect that has shocked the community. The ongoing investigation will hopefully shed more light on these disturbing events and bring justice for the innocent victims involved.
