SAN ANTONIO – KSAT court reporter Erica Hernandez recently made an appearance on the Oxygen true crime show “Snapped” to discuss the trial of Sasha Skare, who was convicted of killing a San Antonio rapper associated with Beyonce.

About the Case

Skare murdered Martell Derouen, also known as Kordone, a San Antonio rapper, at his apartment in The Towers complex on La Cantera Parkway on Jan. 26, 2021.

Derouen was found shot through his front door by the police.

Skare was quickly identified as the suspect and arrested, facing a murder charge at Bexar County Jail.

At the time of the shooting, Skare was already involved in a pending aggravated robbery case in Travis County related to a previous botched drug deal and shooting of her boyfriend.
