Welcome to the Brackenridge Media Film Institute Magnet Program
Are you passionate about journalism, film, editing, and production? Look no further than Brackenridge High School’s Media Film Institute Magnet Program. For years, this program has been shaping the minds of students interested in pursuing a career in media.
Students in the program have the opportunity to work hands-on with equipment ranging from cameras to the teleprompter. They also have access to a digital lab and a cutting-edge TV studio where they produce Brack TV.
This year, the Brackenridge Media Film Institute program is set to make a splash at BexarFest, showcasing the incredible skills of its students. Teaming up with the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition, the program aims to highlight the talent and creativity of its participants.
Recently, KSAT’s RJ Marquez caught up with students from the Brack MFI program to learn more about their aspirations in the world of film and media. From discussing their goals to their involvement in the Eagle News Network, these students are truly dedicated to honing their craft. Watch their interviews in the video player above!
