Kim Porter’s Children Deny Tell-All Memoir Alleging Abusive Relationship with Diddy
NEW YORK – Despite being a bestseller on Amazon, a book purportedly authored by the late Kim Porter detailing an abusive relationship with her longtime partner Sean “Diddy” Combs has been denied by her children in a statement released on Tuesday.
“Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…” was independently published on Amazon in early September, preceding Combs’ arrest in New York and the unsealing of an indictment against him. It is said to be based on Porter’s diary and notes.
Porter’s children, Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila, issued a collective statement denouncing the book as a complete fabrication, emphasizing that their mom did not write a book and cast doubt on any claims of possessing a manuscript.
The book was sparked by the alleged violence Combs committed against Porter and addressed the hurtful and false rumors circulating about their parents’ relationship.
The children expressed their deep sorrow over the exploitation of their family’s tragedy and clarified that Porter’s death was ruled natural causes, refuting any claims of foul play.
The controversial book, riddled with errors, gained notoriety after Combs’ arrest, claiming to reveal disturbing details of abuse. The author, Jamal T. Millwood, has been linked to conspiracy theories surrounding Tupac Shakur’s alleged staged death.
Rolling Stone identified the real author behind the pseudonym as Chris Todd, who could not verify the book’s authenticity but stands by its content.
