Discover “The Order” Premiering at the Venice Film Festival

Jude Law steps into the shoes of an FBI agent in the upcoming thriller “The Order,” set to premiere at the prestigious Venice Film Festival.

This gripping film is based on Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt’s nonfiction book “The Silent Brotherhood” and follows the intense investigation of a white supremacist group responsible for violent crimes, including bank robberies and armored car heists, in 1983.

Law, who not only stars in the film but also serves as a producer, expressed his deep connection to the project, stating, “It’s always interesting finding a piece from the relative past that has some relationship to the present day.”

Accompanied by director Justin Kurzel and fellow cast members Nicolas Hoult, Jurnee Smollett, and Tye Sheridan, Law brought his character, Agent Huss, to life on screen, embodying the complexities of the challenging narrative.

Kurzel, acclaimed for his previous work on “Macbeth,” delves into the dark themes of “The Order,” drawing inspiration from classic thrillers of the 1970s to create a riveting cinematic experience.

Hoult, who portrays the charismatic group leader Robert Jay Mathews, praised the film’s authentic portrayal of the characters and their intricate relationships, highlighting the meticulous direction by Kurzel.

As the story unfolds, the parallels to present-day issues are palpable, prompting reflection on the complexities of American history and society. The cast hopes that the film will serve as a poignant reminder of the consequences of hate and bigotry.

Don’t miss “The Order” as it competes at the Venice Film Festival alongside other compelling titles, promising a thought-provoking exploration of humanity’s darkest aspects.

Stay tuned for the theatrical release of “The Order” by Vertical Entertainment later this year, offering audiences a powerful cinematic experience that leaves a lasting impact.
