Good morning! It looks like we’re in for the hottest day of the year so far. Temperatures are expected to reach 106° in San Antonio, with heat index values making it feel even hotter at 108-111°. Remember to stay safe and hydrated during this extreme heat.

As we head into the late afternoon, there’s a chance of a brief, isolated storm developing. While rainfall will be minimal, watch out for gusty winds and lightning. Keep an eye on the radar for any updates throughout the day.

After today, temperatures will start to cool off slightly. While we can still expect triple-digit temperatures on Thursday and Friday, the weekend and next week will bring relief with temperatures dropping into the mid-90s. Look out for some isolated showers early next week as well.
