SAN ANTONIO – With fall just around the corner, the haunted houses in San Antonio are gearing up to open their doors and send shivers down your spine. Here’s a list of the most popular haunted houses in San Antonio that are sure to give you a fright-filled experience.

13th Floor

The world-famous 13th Floor haunted house is celebrating its 15th year of providing thrills and chills. Opening on Sept. 13 and running on select nights through Nov. 9, this haunted house offers a terrifying experience like no other.

This year, prepare to be scared by new themes like Dead Again and The Grymm. Dead Again presents a world where a deadly virus has turned people into ravenous zombies, threatening to eliminate humanity. Can you stop the spread and save humanity? Meanwhile, The Grymm transforms fairytales into nightmares as Red Riding Hood grapples with a possessed, enchanted book that unleashes chaos under the Blood Moon.

According to USA Today, the 13th Floor is ranked among the top five most terrifying haunted houses in the United States, making it a must-visit for thrill-seekers.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

From Sept. 7 to Nov. 3, Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas promises to make your screams heard. This year, immerse yourself in experiences inspired by Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and Warner Bros. Discovery’s “The Conjuring Universe” for an unforgettable scare.

With six haunted houses, six scare zones, and thrilling entertainment, Fright Fest at Six Flags ensures a spine-chilling experience for visitors of all ages. During the day, enjoy the family-friendly Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest activities before the frightful fun takes over in the evening.
