Flooding areas in San Antonio this morning, rain chances persisting all day.

Severe Weather Alert: Flash Flooding in Bexar County


  • Heavy rain around 410 on the north side of Bexar County has led to flash flooding Tuesday morning


  • FLASH FLOOD WARNING in effect until noon in north central Bexar County as over 2-4 inches of rain have fallen in these areas


  • If you run across flowing water on the road, remember: TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN


  • On & off rain continues through Tuesday evening


  • Rain chances decrease tomorrow and Thursday


  • Lower humidity takes over by the weekend, with cooler mornings

  • Severe weather has hit Bexar County with heavy rain causing flash flooding in several areas. The north side of the county, particularly around 410, has been severely impacted. As a result, a FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect until noon in north central Bexar County due to the significant rainfall of over 2-4 inches in these areas.

    It is crucial to exercise caution during this time. If you encounter flowing water on the roadways, remember the golden rule: TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN. Safety comes first in these challenging weather conditions.

    The forecast predicts on and off rain continuing through Tuesday evening, with rain chances decreasing heading into tomorrow and Thursday. Additionally, lower humidity is expected to take over by the weekend, bringing cooler mornings.
