Massive Fire Erupts in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Authorities are responding to a large fire on the North Side of San Antonio.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in the 2660 block of North Loop 1604 eastbound.

Witnesses have described the scene as chaotic and concerning, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Local resident SkyWatcher (Oscar) captured drone footage showing the extent of the fire near the 1604 and Redland Rd area east of 281N. Social media users like Daj24 and the Neal Family also shared images and videos of the blaze, highlighting the urgency of the situation.

Authorities are urging residents in the area to stay clear of the vicinity and follow any instructions given by emergency personnel. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
