SAN ANTONIO – A tragic incident unfolded on the streets of San Antonio last night, as a woman was left critically injured after being hit by a car on the city’s West Side.
Reports from San Antonio police indicate that the accident occurred just before 10 p.m. Sunday on Culebra Road, near Callaghan Road. The woman was crossing the street when tragedy struck, and she was struck by the car.
The driver of the vehicle did stop and attempted to assist the victim, but it was later revealed that the driver had outstanding warrants and was subsequently arrested at the scene.
The injured woman was rushed to the hospital, where she currently remains in critical condition. Our thoughts are with her and her loved ones during this difficult time.
