Diddy faces new sex assault claim in lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs was hit with new sexual assault allegations on Friday when a woman filed a lawsuit in New York, claiming she was repeatedly raped and drugged at the music mogul’s homes and even became pregnant after one of the encounters.

This is just the latest in a series of similar lawsuits filed against Combs, who was also arrested last week on a federal sex trafficking indictment.

The lawsuit targets Combs, his companies, and several associates, seeking undisclosed damages for physical injuries, severe emotional distress, humiliation, anxiety, and other harms. However, a lawyer for Combs, his company, and one of his representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Friday.

The woman, identified by the pseudonym Jane Doe, accuses Combs of sexually assaulting her while she was unconscious from drugs, and the lawsuit alleges that Combs and his acquaintances recorded the encounters without her consent. She claims to have met Combs overseas in the fall of 2020, with the assaults and harassment continuing until July of this year.

Doe alleges that she was coerced and harassed into visiting Combs’ homes in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and other cities, including monthly visits in 2021 and 2022.

According to the lawsuit, during a July 2022 encounter at Combs’ Los Angeles home, the woman claims she was forced to ingest drugs, including ketamine, and subsequently blacked out. She later discovered she was pregnant, informed Combs, and went on to have a miscarriage after being pressured to have an abortion by a Combs associate.

In yet another disturbing incident in July, Doe states that Combs forcefully fed her pills at his Miami home, leading her to wake up feeling ill and disoriented the next morning, with no recollection of the events that took place the previous night.

Doe, represented by attorneys Marie Napoli and Joseph Ciaccio, also claims that Combs and his associates monitored her location and conversations, discouraged her from working, and exerted control over her through financial means.

Marie Napoli stated, “Powerful figures in the entertainment industry have long exploited aspiring artists and fans. Recent lawsuits aim to hold these celebrities accountable, potentially transforming industry practices and providing justice for victims.” She emphasized that no one, not even someone as prominent as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is above the law.

In separate legal matters, another woman sued Combs, accusing him and his security head of rape and recording the assault on video at his New York recording studio back in 2001.

Combs is currently being held without bail in New York on federal charges related to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He maintains his innocence and vows to clear his name.

Earlier this month, Combs publicly acknowledged and apologized for physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016 after CNN released video footage of the incident.

Despite these controversies, Combs, a renowned music executive, producer, and artist in the hip-hop industry, has won multiple Grammys and collaborated with several iconic artists. He founded Bad Boy Records, established the Sean John fashion line, launched a vodka brand, and created the Revolt TV network. Recently, he sold his stake in the Revolt TV network.
