Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced the establishment of the Texas Senate Leadership Fund, a new political action committee dedicated to advancing conservative goals in the Texas Senate. No funds have been received yet, according to spokesperson Allen Blakemore.
Patrick emphasized the need for resources to support the conservative majority in the Senate, highlighting accomplishments in areas such as border security, property taxes, and education.
Over the years, Patrick has led the Senate in a more conservative direction, implementing reforms that enable conservatives to advocate for their policy preferences effectively. He has clashed with House Speaker Dade Phelan on various issues.
