Security footage captured the harrowing moment a vehicle sped through a West Side intersection and crashed into another car at Castroville Road and Dahlgreen Avenue in San Antonio.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in one vehicle flipping upside down and the other spinning out of control off-road after the collision.

Thankfully, all individuals involved in the crash were reported to be okay by the San Antonio Police Department.

According to a traffic report from SAPD, there have been several crashes at this intersection in recent years, with the majority being attributed to driver inattention or failure to yield the right of way.

In response to the frequent incidents, the City of San Antonio’s Public Works Department is currently conducting a traffic study of the intersection, with expected completion in the fall.
