MENIFEE, Calif. – The upcoming Election Day is just around the corner, and church members Lucky Hartunian and Janie Booth are taking matters into their own hands at the Revival Christian Fellowship in Menifee, California. They are urging congregants to register to vote and make their voices heard as Christians.
Booth and Hartunian, along with other volunteers, will be collecting completed mail-in ballots and dropping them off at the county office to ensure every voice is counted. This practice, known as ballot gathering, has been a topic of ongoing debate.
