SAN ANTONIO – Exciting news for the community as groundbreaking took place Monday on a new affordable housing project near downtown San Antonio.
Named Four25 San Pedro Apartments, this development will offer 80 units for rent to individuals or families earning at or below 60% of the area median income. This equates to an annual income of $47,800 or less for a family of three.
Notably, 25 of these units will be reserved for individuals or families who have experienced homelessness for a year or more. This underscores the project’s commitment to helping those in need and providing a stable living situation.
Supportive services will be provided by SAMMinistries, including connections to resources focusing on mental and physical health through on-site clinics. In addition, all tenants will have access to a food pantry, arts and recreational activities, income tax preparation, and more.
Situated in the 400 block of San Pedro Avenue, this apartment complex represents the final affordable housing project supported by the 2017 Neighborhoods Improvements Bond, further solidifying its importance in the community.
